On November 27, 2000, Blaine began one of the most difficult endurance challenges of his career. Encased in a massive block of ice in Times Square for 63 hours, 42 minutes, and 15 seconds, he battled severe sleep deprivation and freezing cold temperatures before being removed with chain saws.
